Scottish Country Dance Practices
Dance practice sessions will be held at the Reidy Hall, All Souls, 1157 Lexington Avenue at 79th St NYC
If you have not done Scottish country dancing before, we strongly recommend that you attend the practices held before the event.
In conjunction with The National Trust for Scotland Foundation USA, the New York Scottish Ball
will be organizing Scottish Country Dancing as part of the Celebration of Scotland’s Treasures evening,
honoring Guiness World Record holder, Mark Beaumont BEM, who completed a journey around the globe on a bicycle in just 78 days, 14 hours, and 40 minutes.
Renowned architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh will also be honored posthumously; this year marks the 150th anniversary of his birth.
There will be a limited number of “Dancing Only” tickets at $150 each beginning at 9pm, with the diners joining in the reeling at 10pm.
